Broadley FC Fan Membership Privacy Notice

Thank you very much for your interest in joining our Broadley FC Fan Membership. We here at Broadley FC take your privacy and any collection of personal information very seriously and make it our sole responsibility to keep it safe.
This Privacy Notice below will show you how we will use and look after the personal information we collect from you as part of your Broadley FC Fan Membership. We are the sole data controller, responsible for the processing of any personal data you give us and will only be used by Broadley FC alone. We take reasonable care to keep your information secure and to prevent any unauthorised access to or use of it.

What personal data we hold on you
Personal data means any information about an individual from which that individual can be identified.
We collect, use, transfer & store some personal data of our participants [and their parents or guardians], and other Broadley FC members.

You provide information about yourself when you register with our membership, and by filling in forms at an event or online, or by corresponding with us by phone, e-mail or otherwise.

The information you give us may include your name, date of birth, address, e-mail address, phone number and gender. Where we hold this data it will be with the explicit consent of the participant.

Why we need your personal data
We will only use personal data for any purpose for which it has been specifically provided.

The reason we need participants’ and members’ personal data is to be able to provide the membership services you are signing up to when you register with the Broadley FC Fan Membership and to fulfil the contents of our membership, so you are able to receive any products or prizes within the membership. Our lawful basis for processing your personal data is that we have a contractual obligation to you as a participant or member to provide the services you are registering for.

Who we share your personal data with
When you become a member of the Broadley FC Fan Membership, we will only use it for information regarding Broadley FC as part of your membership. We will not use any of your information for any other means including sharing with any third parties with the sole purpose of being a Broadley FC Fan Member.

Protection of your personal data
We have put in place appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used or accessed in an unauthorised way, altered or disclosed.

How long we hold your personal data
We will keep any personal data on our participants and members while they continue to be a participant of our Broadley FC Fan Membership. We will delete any personal data after a participant or member has left or upon expiration of their Broadley FC Fan Membership, or sooner if specifically requested and we are able to do so. We may need to retain some personal data for longer for legal or regulatory purposes. We reserve the right to remove any membership at anytime without prior notice

Your rights regarding your personal data
As a data subject you may have the right at any time to request access to, rectification or erasure of your personal data; to restrict or object to certain kinds of processing of your personal data, including direct marketing; to the portability of your personal data and to complain to the UK’s data protection supervisory authority, the Information Commissioner’s Office about the processing of your personal data.

You are not obliged to share any personal data with the Club. If you choose not to share your personal data with us, we may not be able to register your membership to Broadley FC Fan Membership.

We may update this Privacy Notice and we will inform you to any changes in how we handle your personal data.

Prize Draws
All members are eligible and will be automatically entered into the Broadley FC Fan Membership Prize Draw which will take place on the 1st of each month. If you would like to withdraw from this prize draw, you can contact the management team who will remove you as a participant. The prize draw will be 100% random and the decision of the winners is final. Prizes can be altered or removed at any given time without any prior notice and cannot be exchanged for any monetary value. Expiry dates on prizes may be decided through external companies and are no responsibility of Broadley FC. Prizes are only eligible for UK residents only.
